My Project

As a resource teacher, I provide specially designed instruction for students with a multitude of disabilities. Some of my most impacted students are the ones who have a profile consistent with dyslexia. For these students, they need a program that has a multi-sensory approach which will build on their foundational reading skills and help them to begin accessing grade level reading, writing, and even math curriculum.

My goal for this project is to use the tools of a program that has been proven to enhance the reading ability and skills of students with dyslexia to give my students the best chance at learning how to read.

Wilson phonics has been highly recommended by professionals who have worked with individuals who have dyslexia and has been proven to work.
