Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I work with students from kindergarten through fifth grade. Each child has needs that vary at each level. The students in our room receive services in literacy, math and social emotional. I am in year two of this position as a special education teacher. I believe playing games allows learning to come at a quicker pace with students.
Please help us give our students a very special Valentine's Day with a mini gift, a special book promoting social emotional awareness for all students on Valentine's Day and vinyl envelopes to store fun learning centers.
Our book will be used each year after for continued learning.
Caring about our kids is what we do. Allowing me to share these resources, spread kindness with my peers, is a way to continue to grow, and serve the needs of our children. Thank you for making this happen for our kids. Building kindness within our building, also builds our community with citizens that continue to teach and model kindness.
