This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students are like sponges, gaining new reading skills every day. They have blossomed since they first entered my classroom at the beginning of the school year—what better way to reward them than to give them someone to read to?

My students can use the finger and animal puppet as reading buddies to practice their reading skills.

My students enjoy using puppets in the classroom, so I want to give them one to take home and use to practice their newly acquired reading skills. They will get the finger puppet to use in the classroom. They will get the animal puppet at the end of the year to celebrate their reading accomplishments. Thank you in advance for your donation.
