it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Many of my 8th-grade students face financial challenges that make it difficult for them to afford senior dues, which cover important milestones like graduation ceremonies and senior activities. The Valentine’s Day fundraiser aims to bridge this gap by raising funds to support those who cannot afford these costs. The items I’m requesting for this project—such as supplies for creating Valentine’s Day-themed items like cards, candy grams, and small gifts—will make a meaningful difference by providing an opportunity for students to actively participate in fundraising efforts. This not only helps them feel included but also teaches them valuable lessons in teamwork, responsibility, and creative problem-solving.
The primary goal of this project is to ensure that every senior, regardless of financial constraints, can fully participate in their senior year activities.
Graduation is a significant milestone, and no student should feel excluded from celebrating their hard work and achievements due to financial hardship. Additionally, this fundraiser promotes a sense of community and school spirit as the entire class comes together to support their peers.
What makes my students special is their resilience and determination in the face of adversity. Many of them balance academic responsibilities with personal challenges, yet they remain committed to achieving their goals. They are kind-hearted, empathetic, and supportive of one another, which is why this project resonates so deeply. These students deserve to celebrate their accomplishments and create lasting memories of their senior year. By supporting this project, you’re not only helping them reach this milestone but also showing them the power of community and generosity. Together, we can ensure that no student is left behind during this important time in their lives.
