This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
My students are very motivated to learn. The students are well-behaved, friendly, and caring towards one another. They love to come to school to learn. Our school is working hard to build a community of lifelong learners. The school is a positive environment and a safe haven for our students.
My students attend a Title I school where the majority of students receive free or reduced-price lunches.
The students in my class love school; every day the students come in smiling and ready to learn.
Have you ever sat in a classroom with your stomach growling? All you can think about is when lunch is. You are not able to concentrate on what the teacher is saying. Some of my students experience this every day. Our lunch is at 12:15 p.m. and the students cannot focus because they are hungry. Everyday they ask when is lunch. Students need healthy snacks and water to remain focused in class.
Students learn and focus better when they are not hungry.
Healthy snacks like these snacks will ensure students will be successful in the classroom because they will have brain food. The potato chips and Pepperidge Farm Goldfish will give the students a great variety to choose from. The students will each have a snack that they enjoy. Students come to school to learn, and these healthy snacks will ensure they will be focused and ready to learn.
These snacks will make sure the students can think effectively. They will learn too, now that their stomachs are full. Snacks help students focus on what they need to in the classroom.
