My Students

I have an amazing group of kids. They are energetic, social, and in constant motion.

My students work hard and aspire to do great things!

They take on new challenges with great enthusiasm and are open to the task of trying new endeavors.

5th grade is a fun year as students are still considered elementary age but are starting to come into themselves. They have obvious personalities, likes and dislikes. I truly enjoy having these kids and currently I really miss seeing them everyday.

My Project

My students spend so much of their time standing hunched over their desks trying to do their work. Some students choose to sit, some choose to stand, and I have students who are in constant motion.

I would love for them to have desks that they can stand at if they feel like they can focus more clearly in that manner.

Allowing students to be happy and comfortable is so important to me. Giving them options to sit or stand will create an even better learning environment for my students. These desks also have fidget pedals which allow the students to continue to move without being a distraction.
