This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The students at our school come from a variety of different Latin American backgrounds with all of our students receiving free lunch. Our school is also one of the poorest schools in the Metro Atlanta area. 99% of our students are English Language Learners trying to learn English and the American culture as they get acclimated to the school environment. As diverse as our students are economically and culturally, they are also diverse in their academics. These students are eager to learn everything they can! We are providing an after school tutorial to fill in the gaps and increase their academic achievement!

The "Woodward Wildcats" need brain food to boost their energy before tackling their extended day of learning!

These snacks will give them that pick me up they need to succeed!
