My Project

Hello! We are the Wildcat Band! Our wonderful band is comprised of students in grades 4-6 committed to rehearsing before and after school. In our district, this is the ONLY music education opportunity available to students after K-3rd grade General Music.

While our program is funded in part by the district and local community grants, over 65% of our annual operating expenses and material needs are funded through parent donations.

Each year, we loan school-owned instruments to students in our school so they can learn to play and join the band. We are so fortunate to have these instruments to share! While we have access to the instruments, each year our booster program still has to source needed materials such as reeds, cleaning cloths, cork grease, mouthpieces, and supplies for minor repairs. As we gear up for the next school year, this project includes a portion of the items we will need. Will you support our band?
