Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My newcomer students work hard each day but being middle school students they occasionally arrive in class with no way to write. As an ICT teacher in an ESL setting, I go with the students to each class and not having a pencil can be an issue in ELA where writing is a part of the daily class routine.

Having pencils and a sharpener in class will help students stay on track and help make our class run smoothly with minimal distractions.

With a steady supply of pencils and markers as well as a sharpener, newcomer students as well as more advanced ESL students will be able to focus on working instead of wasting valuable class time looking for something to write with.
