My students struggle with reading and being able to critically analyze text because they read below grade level.
This project will give my students a text to use outside of the reading block.
The plan is to give each student a copy of the wild robot. We will read the book together during chew and chat lunches. When we finish the book we will then watch the movie during lunches. As we watch the movie, we will be able to then critically analyze the movie to the book. This project will hopefully engage them enough to pursue other books to read.
