My Students

My first grade students love to learn! Every morning they walk into our classroom with a big smile. They are curious and inquisitive children, and they challenge me everyday to grow with them and be the best I can be.

We work hard to create a classroom community where students can take a risk to explore, wonder and discover the world around them.

We are proud to be a part of an amazing school. We are family. We learn, play, laugh and grow together!

My Project

My students love to pick out books from our classroom library. They especially like nonfiction books about animals and science. I would love to have more selections of easy nonfiction books for early readers to add to my library. Although many first graders are still learning to read, I get excited to see their faces light up when they see books they would like to read. Nonfiction books and magazines will not only help my students learn about their topics, but also motivate them to learn to read. I would appreciate your support if you would like to donate quality nonfiction books and magazines to our library.
