This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Literature circles provide small groups of students lead a discussion about a novel. Students get to share responsibilities when they meet to discuss the reading. Peter Brown's "Wild Robot" series has proven to be a third grade favorite. It would be wonderful to give students the ability to select which book in the series to read, and even continue the series. This fictional series follows a caring and nurturing robot named Roz, who learns how to survive.

The series is very descriptive which helps all learners comprehend what they are reading.

I am hoping to empower students feel confident in their comprehension and promote collaboration.
