My Project
Flexible seating options have been a staple in my classroom year after year. It allows students the opportunity to learn, work, and move, all while making good choices. Unfortunately, hard tile floors were put in place of carpet last summer, thereby limiting flexible seating. The chances of accidents and injuries have now become a great concern.
Therefore, I found it appropriate to stabilize the exercise balls by adding the ball chairs.
Research proves flexible seating in classrooms lead to an increase in student engagement, improvement in learning performance, and a more sustainable focus.
The rest of the Donors Choose items on the list are necessary for the day to day activities. Most of these teaching items have provided years of use and are either broken or on there last leg. Some of these everyday items include a stapler, pencil sharpener, and organization items.
