My Students
My students are amazing! They are also super active and love to move.
They come to school each day ready to learn, make mistakes, and overcome challenges.
They thrive on knowledge and work together to solve problems and complete teacher assigned tasks. My students come from very different backgrounds and interests. However, they are all active learners in the classroom and love to move around to work. I'd like to have for them to get their wiggles out while they work.
My Project
Sometimes sitting in a chair can be frustrating for our active learners. Every child needs to move. Brain breaks are essential for learners as well as providing flexible seating in different areas of the classroom.
Flexible seating will help students focus and concentrate on what is most important.
Kinetic and tactile learners will especially benefit from being able to move while "sitting still." The focus can then be on learning and staying focused instead of struggling to concentrate. An added bonus is flexible seating will help improve posture! Please help my students wobble through small group!
