This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students come from a variety of homes and living environments. Many have been diagnosed with ADHD or learning disabilities. Some are not diagnosed but spin, twitch, wiggle, wobble all over and being able to wiggle or wobble on a specifically designed seat will allow them to do their work as they wiggle, wobble.
Flexible seating will give all my students the ability to move and yet focus on what is going on in the classroom, whether listening to the teacher, or working in a group collaborating on a project. My student need a variety of flexible seating options to enable them to focus!
