Wiggles & Giggles! Flexible Seating Makes a Happy Classroom!
My students need personal white boards for math time as well as flexible seating options like wobble cushions, stools, and Bouncy Bands to help them keep their wiggles under control during class.
This coming school year, I will have a classroom full of precious 3rd graders that deserve the absolute best! I have taught both fourth and fifth grade and am new to the third grade team this year, and
I expect it to be the best year yet!
Walking into the room to meet my new kiddos was an amazing feeling. Although we've only just met, they're already MY kids in my heart. This group of students is well behaved, so sweet, and so very respectful. I want to be able to give them the best opportunities that I can, but resources are tight. There's so much that my kids can accomplish with the right tools. I hope with this project I can make it happen!
My Project
I will be teaching third grade for the first time this coming school year, and I couldn't be more excited!
If there's one thing I've learned during my first 2 years of teaching, it's that kids need the chance to let their energy out!
With bouncy bands for their desks, my students can move their feet and legs as much as they need to without being distracting to others! With wobble cushions, they can wiggle their torsos quietly while keeping their eyes on the task at hand and without skipping a beat. Personal dry erase boards make learning fun when we can all work math problems together, practice cursive writing and spelling words, and even write short stories while erasing quickly and easily while our creativity is flowing! I would love to be able to give my students what they need to be successful as well as items that make them feel comfortable and at ease in our room.
