Wiggles for the Littles

Help me give my students flexible seating. As kindergarteners, most of them will be experiencing school and learning for the first time. Flexible seating gives them the chance to move and learn at the same time!

My Project

Kindergarteners are full of energy and movement. Especially at the beginning of the year, we have to give them frequent breaks and keep lessons and work time short. Having seats that they get to choose and that will help them move while they work will allow them to be able to focus on their school work while still getting out their energy.

Kindergarteners in our county only have one 30-minute recess a day.

Sitting in a classroom for the other six and a half hours is not an easy task! These special seats will give them exactly what they need to thrive in the classroom and soar as they learn.

I have not met my students for the upcoming school year yet, but I want to make sure I give them a safe and engaging learning environment that will push them to be their best. I feel having flexible seating will help their little minds, and bodies, tremendously!
