My Students
These 21 beautiful cherubs walk into the classroom with glowing smiles each day. Since the pandemic, they have been more eager than ever to learn to read, add and subtract using place value, identify shapes, and so much more! I have had the great honor to be these children's teacher since January their Kindergarten year and they have been the light of my life since I started teaching. Their dynamism bursts from them during the classroom discussions and activities. They have become so close as a class and you can just tell their teamwork and emotional support through this year has lifted everyone in the class up. They all work hard to demonstrate greatness with all their school work.
Each of these students care deeply about their work and take pride in doing their best.
I am so proud of their emotional and physical accomplishments this year and I cannot wait to watch them grow during their time in my class and the rest of their years at our school.
My Project
I am requesting five stools for flexible seating which will be a wonderful way for my students to be able to have excitement coming to the small group table, keep the classroom organized, keep the students from carrying their own chairs to my small group table.
This is my first full year and we have been making do with bringing our own chairs to the table because of the pandemic; however, we are fully equipped with sanitizer, disinfectant, etc., to make sure they are clean between each station.
The kids will be so excited to be able to sit on these while they learn. I have many children who like to stand, move around, and fidget as a way to help them stay focused and I think this will be a perfect way to incorporate that into our small group instructional time.
