My Students

My classroom is a melting pot of all ages and all abilities. The students my co-teacher and I serve are each as unique as they come and therefore come with their own set of needs to help them be successful. Many of my students need tactile stimulation to help them stay focused and engaged in their learning. Things like exercise balls, flexible seating options, and wobble seats would help our students focus and grow their knowledge as big as their personalities.

My Project

All students need different things to help them succeed. This is something all good teachers know but it is sometimes more difficult to provide certain resources due to budget. With these resources, my students will be able to choose a seating option that helps them focus and get ready to learn. Students will use the bouncy bands, exercise balls, and wobble cushions to get out their energy and stress so thy are ready to learn.

Each student is unique and as such, need different things to be successful in the classroom.

My students would benefit from the sensory input of these different seating options. Having wobble cushions helps students with ADHD focus on their learning instead of on fidgeting.
