This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I have seen how choice can positively affect my students' ability to work and focus. I hope these options will help my students who need to wiggle and get everyone excited about school and learning! My students love to have a flex seating option during their individual center learning time for reading and math.
The seating options that I have selected, will help my students by giving them additional seating options to safely get their wiggles out.
Flex seating options allow students to learn in a new area of the room and break up the normalcy of sitting at their tables. Like adults, the children need the flexibility to move about the room for a fresh outlook during learning.
