My Students

I am a kindergarten teacher at a high poverty school district.

I have 20 wonderful kindergarten students. I have 13 boys and 7 girls. My school is a high poverty building that has many amazing teachers that go above and beyond to help all students. We are always working to make each child achieve success. My students are eager to learn and they love it by moving their busy bodies. I am trying to teach them to be life long learners, instill good habits, and teach them to be problem solvers. I get to be with these sweeties everyday! I want to be able to push them to their fullest potential and teach them to be the best they can be!

My Project

All of my students are amazing. My kindergarteners need to be actively moving to increase the level of attention and focus required to retain knowledge. Several students wiggle all day. My kindergarteners need to move a lot, but with increasing higher academic expectations, students are forced to sit at their desks for longer periods of time. The Kid Kore chairs will allow students to wiggle in their classroom chair without disturbing those around them. The Kid Kore chairs will also work the core muscles that will help my sweeties control their bodies. Students are then able to do their best and truly shine in the classroom.

The Kid Kore chairs will be extremely helpful to my students.

My kindergarteners will have the opportunity to channel their energy toward learning while seated in a wiggle seat. Kindergarten students are very wiggly and have a hard time sitting when learning. This will, in turn, aid in student engagement. The Kid Kore chairs will provide my kindergarten children with flexible seating options that will allow them to learn in the way, best fit for them.
