Do you wiggle in your chair when at a meeting? Do you find it challenging to stay in one spot? We all fidget in some way to get us through our day. My students fidget and need a variety of supports, so they can be the best learners they can be.
I have an energetic, 2nd grade classroom that supports learners of all types.
My students come from diverse backgrounds, languages, and cultures. They are eager learners who like to move. The wiggles can get in the way of their ability to focus and be attentive. Hokki stools will support the fidgeting needs of students allowing them to continue active learning.
My Project
These four Hokki stools will support active learning in the classroom. Our chairs are hard and static, and not always comfortable. The Hokki stools are dynamic and support students being active while sitting. The ability to wiggle and move in place will support focus and attention on the learning activity. The stools will support whole and small group learning, as well as independent learning. They can move easily about the room as the student moves from one activity to the next. These stools are a proactive way to support children who need to move to be successful in school.
My students will benefit from having access to Hokki stools.
They will allow my active students to be attentive and grow as learners. Kids need to wiggle and move; the Hokki stools let them do this in a positive way and keep learning. I want to be proactive in my support of student learning. These stools will support this goal.
