Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The wiggle seats will replace our old heavy chairs and give our classroom an updated look.
These wiggle seats will provide a comfortable and motivating space to maximize student learning.
My students are energetic, curious leaners, many of whom will benefit from movement and choice throughout the day. During small group instruction, it's especially important that they can focus and stay engaged. Flexible wiggle seats will give them the gentle movement their body crave while helping their minds stay centered on learning. These seats promote focus, support sensory regulation, and create a more inclusive, comfortable space where all students can do their best thinking and learning.
