Wiggle While You Work: Flexible Seating for Focused Learning
Help me give my students to create a dynamic learning environment that supports student focus and engagement but also allowing movement so my students don't have to sit still for long periods of time.
Many of my students struggle to sit for long periods of time and it's even more difficult since they are in ELA for two period blocks. Flexible seating options like wobble stools provide a healthy outlet for movement while also allowing students to remain attentive and focused. These seating options can be especially helpful for students with ADHD or sensory needs by offering a way for them to release energy without disrupting instruction or disrupting other students. By funding this project, you'll help give my students the tools they need to succeed both academically and socially.
