My students need wobble seats and bouncy bands to help them focus on their work while also being able to move and get out some energy.

My Students

Our school is a K-5 elementary school, located in a rural district in Virginia. I teach 17 wonderful third graders in a collaborative setting. My students come from many different backgrounds, but they all love to learn. They are mathematicians, scientists, authors, and historians who are eager to learn about the world around them.

They are full of excitement and energy and tackle each challenge that they are given within the classroom head-on.

Their excitement is contagious and anyone who walks into my classroom can feel it too.

My Project

My students are a very energetic class that are always in motion. I provide them many opportunities to move around while learning, but some assignments require them to work at their seats. These flexible seating options will provide them the ability to wiggle while they complete their assignments. Your generous donation will provide these enthusiastic third graders the ability to remain active while staying focused on their learning.

Students who are active while learning retain information better than students who remain stationary.

By having these two different seating options they will be comfortable and able to wiggle around without disrupting their classmates.
