My Project

It is extremely important for my students to have working headphones because many of their assignments are on their Chromebooks. Being at a low income school, our students do not have the means to supply their own headphones. The students who do have their own, typically have inexpensive ones that tear up before the end of the year. My students have difficulties reading so many of their classroom assignments have audio that the rest of the class does not need. Having a class set will ensure that my students have working headphones to use throughout the school year...and for years to come.

Flexible seating will also allow my students to wiggle while they work.

During independent work my students struggle to stay focused on the task due to a variety of learning disabilities. They thrive when they are able to wiggle and move to keep them focused on the assignment.
