This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Covid-19 has been devastating to our learning and our social emotional needs. After learning at home, students have been thrust back into a school environment where they're struggling to adapt, find motivation, and recover what education gaps were created by the pandemic. By being able to get out that kinesthetic energy and not be confined to sitting in a regular chair, my hope is that it will bring back some of that feeling of comfort they had while at home. It will also give them to flexibility to learn in comfort.
