Help me give my students some wiggle room!
My kindergarten kiddos need to be able to wiggle while they learn! Wobble stools will allow them to get some energy out and stay focused on learning!

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My school serves students from pre-k through 5th grade. It is a Title I school and is located in a high-poverty area. The students in my school love to play, run, sing, dance, and learn!
Curious, energetic, fun-loving, and sweet; my students come to school each day ready for a new adventure.
They come from all walks of life, but share the same motivation to learn. My goal is to provide a safe, welcoming, and fun place for them to come and learn, grow, and thrive.
My students are kind and caring, and they deserve nothing but the best!
My Project
Kindergarteners are active! I want my students to be able to move and get some energy out while they are learning. We cannot expect 5 and 6 year old children to sit quietly at a table all day and stay focused!
They need to move it, move it.
By giving them the option to use a wobble stool, students will be able to wiggle and move while staying focused on their learning. These chairs make it easier for their bodies and brains to work together.
The round cushion will be an addition to a chair that my classroom already has to make it a comfortable and calming space. Students will use the chair as a calm-down area when they become overwhelmed.
