Help me give my students more flexible seating options like a dry erase table and wobble stools, and an Early Simple Machines Set.

Hooray! This project is fully funded
My classroom is filled with a diverse group of eager learners. My students come from a variety of cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. Some students have special needs that require Individualized Education Plans that depict specific accommodations to help them be successful. Each of my students is unique in his or her own way. Thus, each deserves to have opportunities to study and work in an environment that best suits their individual needs. My students love to work collaboratively with one another and have built relationships that I hope will last a lifetime.
Three years ago, I bit the bullet and got rid of all the desks in my 1st grade classroom! It was scary but invigorating and was the best thing I ever did for my students. They now have a flexible seating environment where they can choose which types of seats work best for them.
Wobble stools have been a favorite, as they allow kids to wiggle while they work.
Being able to move around helps students focus on their work and often leads to better quality. This new table and wobble stools will complete our flexible seating classroom. With the table top being dry erase, it will allow a fun way for the kids to practice their skills throughout the day! I can just hear their excitement when I tell them they can write on the table!
Lastly, one of our units focuses on simple machines and their uses. The LEGO Early Simple Machines Set will help me demonstrate each simple machine and allow the kids to build while learning how each machine works! What can be more engaging than learning with a LEGO set!
