My students need the balance ball chairs and wobble cushions to help them get their wiggles out while they are working in order to help them concentrate.
Every morning my students will come in eager to learn. They are willing to give their best effort on their assignments, but sometimes their high energy level gets in the way.
My students want to do the best they can, but sometimes they cannot control their own little bodies.
Many of my students are very active and enjoy movement, but sometimes that interferes with their learning and the learning of others. Many of my children have a hard time sitting still in their chairs and are always fidgeting around or tapping their feet. We spend time out of our seats but sitting in our chairs at desks is necessary at times.
My Project
Having the wobble cushions and balance ball chairs will provide students with the opportunity to wiggle while they work. Students will be able to move around in a safe way while working. All of these tools will help my boys and girls with their focus and concentration.
This project will make a world of difference in my classroom for all of my students.
This will help my students focus on the task at hand whether it is independent work, partner work or group work. Students will be able to release their energy in a way that is less distracting to themselves and to others.
