My Project
My second-grade classroom is full of bright, energetic learners who are always on the move—even while seated! Throughout the day, I often notice students leaning back in their chairs or leaning forward onto their desks in an effort to get comfortable or release excess energy. These common behaviors can be distracting and sometimes even unsafe.
That’s why I’m requesting 20 wobble chairs to give each student a safe, structured way to stay active while learning.
Wobble chairs allow for gentle movement that helps students maintain focus, improve posture, and build core strength—all while staying safely seated. They’re especially beneficial for students with ADHD or other learning differences, offering the sensory input and movement they need to stay engaged.
These flexible seating options will support my students’ natural need to move while helping them channel that energy into learning. Wobble chairs will allow them to stay alert and focused while getting their second-grade wiggles out in a productive way.
