The students had no idea they were coming so soon. The moment they walked in and saw the boxes stacked in our classroom, they were filled with excitement. Many of them immediately asked, \"Are these really for us?\" and couldn't wait to start using them.\r\n\r\nWe've already put the wobble chairs to great use. Five of the seats are assigned to my students with IEPs and 504 plans who benefit from having extra movement options during the day. The other five chairs are part of a weekly rotation for the class, used during flexible seating, small-group work, and even as special rewards through Class Dojo. The chairs have quickly become one of the most popular and helpful tools in our room.\r\n\r\nAs we dive into new reading, writing, and math units, these wobble chairs are helping students stay focused, comfortable, and ready to learn. These items are used daily! \r\nStudents wipe their desks and work spaces off daily with the wipes. One that we really liked was \"Watch Over Our Water,\" which was great to help students connect previous learning we had done on the importance of water with this new concept of reducing, reusing and recycling. We also liked the early learning set of Kaplan books. These were perfect for early readers to read on their own and learn new things independently. And all of the books were put to good use as part of our lending library in which students took home books to share with their families. Thank you for adding to our classroom library.
