In the fall of 2021, I became our school's Targeted Intervention Specialist in Math! This is the first time we have had a Math Intervention Teacher, which is very exciting for everyone!
Our students' mindsets about math are changing for the better and they are excited for my push-in lessons and small groups!
Because I work with kindergarten through fifth-grade students, a variety of seating options are needed in my classroom. These ERC4Kids Surf portable lap desks will allow my students a variety of new locations to sit in our classroom, or outdoors, while they work on learning math concepts that are challenging for them. This ability to change seating locations will help improve student focus during small groups which is important to their learning. Then students can focus more on mathematics being hands-on, understandable, and fun for all my students in kindergarten through fifth grade!
With STEM careers on the rise, mathematical proficiency is a key part of those careers. Thank you for considering flexible seating for my K-5 Math Intervention Classroom and students; we appreciate it!
