Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

We need to create a classroom environment that allows us to teach to all learning styles of our students.
Today we have many options at our fingertip to create a flexible seating classroom that produces a comfortable, positives learning community to allow the leaders of tomorrow to grow. Flexible seating can help teachers motivate every level of learners to want to learn.
Preparing my students for today's world is an ever changing challenge. While I continue to employ new teaching methods, adapting to their needs, there is a growing requirement for new flexible seating based tools that are greatly needed.
Many of our students are coming from lower income environments. They often do not have access to the necessary tools and resources, and they are not always prepared to accomplish the goals and requirements without outside help or assistance. Although schools do provide resources, most of the time they have a limited supply and materials can be outdated. Without your help, we cannot fully achieve our mission.
My Project
Making learning fun and rewarding, while meeting our goals and standards, by creating a comfortable environment that gives students options allowing them to feel comfortable and confident in their learning environment. These flexible seating pieces are designed so every type of learner can choose a spot in the classroom where they feel comfortable. The students are able to move around while they are still working hard. When students are comfortable, they are more confident and they stay more focused on the task at hand. The flexible seating pieces allows them to Wiggle while they work!
Many of my students are special needs students and these flex seating chairs, lap desks and wobble cushions will help them to be comfortable and confident while they learn.
They will provide an outlet for restlessness and any extra energy while still learning!
