The students in my class are multi-handicapped. They each have unique strengths and weaknesses. My students come into the room with big smiles and enjoy the individual attention my assistants and I give them.
The students in my class have difficulty transitioning from one activity to another.
Some students need to get their wiggles out before moving to the next activity.
I like to have multiple sensory learning in my classroom.
My Project
The trampoline will make a difference to the students needing physical movement between classroom activities (getting their wiggles out). The fidgets will help little fingers stay busy and keep hands to themselves. When going from one activity to another, the classroom will add a “get your wiggles out “ area. A timer will be used for taking turns. After physical activity (jumping up and down on the trampoline), the student will hear the timer and know it is time to go to the next activity. This will help students transition during classroom instruction.
