My Project

There is not one way to learn. Our learning needs are as unique as we are! Each year I work to meet the needs of 140 sixth and seventh graders. I am asking to add to our math classroom bouncy bands and wiggle seats to add to a few other seats alternatives. Although this seating will greatly benefit students with sensory needs, attention needs, and other neurodivergent needs, it will truly help all students.

Not only am I hoping to provide students with alternative seating to help them learn, but I also want to normalize differences in needs, and help student to recognize and advocate for their own needs.
