Help me give my students inflatable wiggle seats. These have a different texture on each side to promote core strength, improve posture and help them focus during class.
My students are 31 of the most adorable, inquisitive, thoughtful bunch of newly minted 4th graders. They are creative and busy and love hands-on projects. They make me a better person every day just by being around them. I am the luckiest teacher around!
My Project
Every student in my class is very different, but one common thing I have noticed is that this group of students is a little "wigglier" than past years! I am not sure entirely what contributed to this phenomenon; whether it is Covid related or just this groups' uniqueness, but I feel that wiggle seats would greatly benefit these kids. Another added bonus is that they can be used again to reach many other students in my future classes.
I know that my students would love to have one of their own because I currently have 4 seats in my classroom that all 31 kids rotate through.
They LOVE when it is their turn, even though it only comes around once every 2 weeks!
