This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I aim to provide my students with equipment that supports gross motor skills, imaginative play, and exploration. My vision includes providing students with jump ropes, bean bags, balls and other sport equipment that will inspire movement, creativity and encourage active learning. These materials will greatly enhance our students’ outdoor experiences, allowing them to grow in a fun and safe setting. These supplies not only support their gross motor growth but also help cultivate their creativity and enthusiasm for learning.
Preschoolers need to play outside because it helps them grow in all areas of development.
It allows kids to experiment, explore, and learn in an unstructured setting that promotes creativity, problem-solving, social skills, emotional intelligence, physical health, and an appreciation of the natural world.
Gross motor skills are vital for physical, social, cognitive, and emotional development, making them a key focus in early childhood education. Your generous support would make a significant impact on my students and allow me to create a more enriching classroom environment.
