My Project

A project focused on enhancing sensory regulation in an Autistic-Support Kindergarten classroom is critically important for fostering a conducive and inclusive learning environment. Children with autism often face challenges in sensory processing, making it crucial to create a space that caters to their unique needs.

By implementing tools specifically designed for sensory regulation, such as wiggle seats, options to sit on the floor, and calming corners, educators can provide a supportive atmosphere that promotes emotional well-being and helps minimize sensory overload.

This project is not only about accommodating differences but also about empowering these young learners to engage more effectively in the learning process.

A sensory-friendly kindergarten classroom is an investment in the overall development and academic success of children with autism, laying the foundation for a positive educational experience that recognizes and celebrates their individual strengths and capabilities.
