Help me give my students the ability to get their wiggles out while still being engaged in learning! The set of wobble chairs will be at my small group table where the most intentional teaching occurs!

My Students
My students are curious, thoughtful, and hardworking 6 and 7-year-olds. Our school is 87% low-income, so for most of my students, school is where they learn but also where they can get emotional and social support. My students favorite things are reading, playing together, doing GoNoodles, and being respectful school community members.
My Project
If you have ever met a 6 or 7-year-old, you know the amount of energy they have equates to an adult after 4 cups of coffee. One way of keeping their attention is to allow them to get their wiggles out in an appropriate way to ensure that they are still engaged and learning.
The wobble chairs and cushions that I am requesting will help my students get their extra energy out while still being engaged in the learning that needs to occur to help them grow as first graders.
The wobble chairs will be placed at my small group table, which is where the most intentional teaching occurs. The wobble cushions will be rotated throughout the classroom and given to students that have that extra bit of energy that needs to be channeled.
