My Project

I have the joy of teaching 75 curious, energetic, and big-hearted 1st graders. Every day, they come into our classroom ready to explore, ask questions, and grow—not just in reading and math, but as kind, collaborative learners. My students come from a variety of backgrounds, and many face challenges outside of school, but inside our room, we build a safe and supportive space where they can thrive.

With 22 years of teaching experience, I’ve seen firsthand how much learning improves when students are comfortable, engaged, and able to move as they work.
