My Project

Instead of being confined to traditional chairs, students can engage in gentle movement while sitting, which not only helps them relieve excess energy but also helps improve their focus and concentration. In a Spanish learning environment, this increased focus can lead to better comprehension and retention of language concepts.

I’m hoping to provide my students wiggle stools and cushions to support their functional needs as they strive to demonstrate their academic skills.

The stools will be used during small group rotations at the teachers table while the cushions will be used by the students at various places throughout the classroom. These sturdy wobble stools and cushions will not just benefit my Spanish learners, but it will also help the students that just need to release some extra energy. These alternative sitting options will allow my students to wiggle and move while working on different assignments and in return allowing them to be more engaged and to succeed in school, especially when it comes to learning a new language.
