Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach kindergarten and first grade little humans. My students love coming to school to interact with each other and they love having a safe place to play. I love when my students enjoy a lesson I teach. They love asking questions about everything and everything. I teach Autistic Support so I have a few students who are non-vocal. Therefore, teaching can be a guessing game of what interests them. I teach engaging lessons using lots of hands-on activities and videos along the way.

My Project

Flexible seating will give my students an opportunity to learn in different settings. My students seek sensory input and flexible seating can provide my students a comfortable and safe environment to learn. I want to build independence with my students and providing comfortable and inviting seating for them to complete learning tasks by themselves is important.

Donating to my project will give my students a chance to improve my students' focus to understand material.

Flexible seating has proven to help students succeed in school. Flexible seating can motivate my students to learn and keeping them on task is my full-time job! Flexible seating will engage and motivate my students to learn more.
