My Project
This project was inspired by my third-grade wigglers. Many of them have a hard time sitting properly and still in chairs. The CDC recommends 60 minutes of physical activity a day and these requested stools will change the classroom from an environment of primarily sitting, to one of motion! The premise of flexible seating is allowing students to work in a way that is most comfortable to them, which for most students involves some sort of movement. These chairs also help students not feel squished at the reading table. All of my groups have 7-8 students, which is a lot to fit around a table and be comfortable!
