My Students
First grade is a magical year! My students are eager to learn, always try to do their best, and have an inquisitive, creative nature.
Our school is home to many different cultures, backgrounds, socioeconomic levels, and learning abilities.
The students work hard, have fun, and learn with a growth mindset. I know this year will be fantastic! I am looking forward to creating bonds, being a team, learning a lot, and reaching to the stars with these kids!
My Project
Every year I utilize the website Teachers Pay Teachers to use activities and printables that extend what I am teaching to my students. The students and I love the engaging pictures and layouts of the activities/printables, the fun extension games, the colorful pocket chart sorts, etc.
This year, with distance learning, I hope to utilize the amazing ideas and creations from the awesome teachers out there on Teachers Pay Teachers, so that the students' "at home" learning can be as fun and engaging as possible.
We all have talents and areas in which we excel, and I love the fact that we can share those on Teachers Pay Teachers. The teachers benefit, and most importantly, the students benefit!
