My Project
Why do we often focus only on traditional sports in PE? Every student is different, and not everyone feels connected to the typical sports we usually practice.
With this project, I want to give my students the chance to explore exciting, non-traditional physical activities like surf skateboarding, slacklining, and balance boarding: These activities are fun, challenging, and can inspire students to be active outside of school.
They also help build balance, coordination, and confidence—skills that are valuable for life. My goal is to open their minds to new ways of enjoying physical activity and show them that fitness doesn’t have to look the same for everyone.
With your support, we can bring these new experiences into our PE classes and give students the opportunity to discover something they truly love. Thank you for helping us expand their world and encourage a lifelong love for movement.
