As a teacher of students with special needs, I am always thrilled when students ask questions wanting to know more information. A lot of the questions that I get are based on basic science concepts. Questions that are simple, such as "What does the wind sound like? What makes a tornado happen? What makes a flower grow? etc." I love questions and inquiring minds and do my best to demonstrate in various modalities to encourage learning among my students. I am submitting this grant in the hopes of securing some basic science materials that would allow me to better explain the many "whats, hows, and whens" that my students ask every day. These materials would allow my to integrate visual and hands-on learning that would allow my little scientists to explore and acquire answers to their questions and investigations. Please help my scientists expand their worlds as they have much to ask.
