This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Do you remember the joy of working on independent learning centers in grade school? My students have learning centers, but I would love to expand on them.
My students are great.
There are students from many places in the world that blend in to create a unique classroom culture. Even though my children are not at an economical advantage, they can do a lot with very little. Nonetheless, they are also appreciative when opportunity comes along.
My Project
iPads are the most popular tablet with students and teachers. They make every lesson more hands-on. I can customize the learning experience with apps and books geared to students at any level.
A tool available is iTunes U, which contains podcast that can be viewed at any time.
Another app that is available is iBooks Author, which allows the teacher and students to become authors and great readers.
Included in my project are some rugged and student friendly cases, which will protect the iPads from any mishaps.
Please help in continuing to make my classroom content rich.
With Apple and the thousands of educational apps that are available, content will be limitless. Apps, podcasts, videos, and whatever is yet to come; Need I say more.
