This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach the most curious, loving and exploring first graders! They have so many questions and together we tackle them! We are asking for some help, though. Do you remember sitting on the carpet, trying to learn but couldn't because you couldn't see? Help me avoid that for my students!
The donations to our project will help us get an easel for our classroom AND a display bookstand.
By having an easel, students will be able to see our anchor charts regardless of where they are sitting! This will help my students enhance their reading, writing, math, STEAM, and all of our other important subjects during our whole group lessons. With the bookstand, students will be able to access books from the units we are currently working on. This is crucial as reading brings the learning to life. We thank you for your time in reading our project and hope you can help us out!
