My Students
The United States has been called, "The Land of Opportunity." Most citizens can describe the traditional "American Dream" as the right and ability to carve out any life you choose. Unfortunately, for children, not all opportunities are equal.
My students come from a wide range of ethnic backgrounds and vast socio-economic lifestyles.
Each child comes with their own life experiences, strengths, and weaknesses. They all want to feel safe and successful, and every one of them brings the need and desire to be loved.
My students are curious, humorous, and zealous. They enjoy learning with their eyes, ears, and hands. As a classroom family, students work together, learn from each other, and strive for personal goals of personal best.
My Project
Having access to a document camera will allow me to model and demonstrate lessons in front of the class while students work at their own personal desks. Keeping students safe during these uncertain will be my biggest priority.
Social distancing will make for a new atmosphere in all classrooms, and I want to provide my students with the best experience possible in this new territory.
Having a document camera will still allow students to manipulate and create with their own supplies in their own area while I do the same.
